Your computer will restart several times. When I went ahead and clicked the arrow to install the OS, the DVD spins for a few seconds and then the laptop freezes (cant move mouse, no discernible sounds that anything is happening) Seems either a bad Install Disc, bad HD, or RAM/Memory problem.Windows will now be freshly installed on your computer.Click Apply to create your new Windows 8 partitions, then click Next. At the Dell logo screeen, tap the F12 key repeatedly until the Please Select Boot Device: menu appears. Insert the Windows 8 DVD into your optical drive and restart your computer.You can follow the steps below to install Windows 8 on the new hard drive. When you are installing the Windows onto this new hard drive you need to insert the Windows installation disk, restart the system and tap on the F12 key on the system to boot and boot the system from the DVD.
